About Frontline Fire & Flood

Frontline Fire & Flood has been doing restoration work in the South Sound since 2014. The company was built around a straightforward premise: when a pipe bursts at 2 a.m. or a kitchen fire leaves a house uninhabitable, the people who show up matter as much as the equipment they bring. That focus on showing up, trained, certified, and ready, has shaped everything about how the company operates.

What we do

On any given day, the work looks like this: a crawl space with standing water that’s been there longer than the homeowner realized, a living room where smoke residue has settled into every porous surface, a bathroom where a slow leak behind the wall finally made itself known through the ceiling below. The calls come in around the clock, Frontline operates 24/7, and the situations are rarely tidy. Most of the time, a homeowner is dealing with their insurance company for the first time, unsure what’s covered, unsure what comes next. A significant part of what we do is document the loss thoroughly, photographs, moisture readings, scope of damage, so that the claim process moves on evidence rather than guesswork. We work directly with most major carriers and handle the billing side so property owners aren’t fronting costs while waiting for reimbursement.

Our certifications and licensure

The IICRC, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification, sets the technical standards that govern how water damage, fire damage, mold, and structural drying work is supposed to be performed. Frontline holds IICRC certification across all four of those disciplines: Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Fire and Smoke Restoration (FSRT), and Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) for mold. These aren’t honorary designations; they require demonstrated knowledge of the science behind moisture migration, psychrometrics, and contamination control.

The EPA Lead-Safe certification is a federal requirement for any contractor disturbing painted surfaces in homes built before 1978. Much of the housing stock in Lakewood and the surrounding South Sound area dates to that era, so this certification comes up regularly, it governs how materials are handled and contained during demolition and reconstruction phases of a restoration job.

Frontline is also licensed and insured in Washington State (license #CCFRONTFF761CB) and maintains OSHA training across the team, which matters on job sites where hazards, electrical, structural, biological, are part of the environment.

Where we work

The primary service area is Lakewood and the broader Pierce County region, including Tacoma, University Place, Steilacoom, DuPont, and surrounding communities. The South Sound’s wet winters, older housing stock, and mix of residential and light commercial properties create a fairly predictable pattern of loss types: storm-driven water intrusion, aging plumbing failures, and the mold that follows when either goes unaddressed.
